Waste transfer stations
 
Waste transfer stations are intended for transfer of waste from garbage trucks, containers and other types of waste collecting machinery into containers of bigger volume for onward transportation to landfill or sorting plants.

 

Waste from garbage trucks is loaded into loading chamber of waste transfer station where it is pressed into containers of bigger volume which are transported with vehicles equipped with hooklift of cablelift systems and trailers. Usage of waste transfer stations in combination with trucks and trailers significantly reduces costs of waste disposal, allows using park of garbage trucks more effectively, lowers amount of exhaust gases by reducing traffic towards landfill, and increases life of the landfill due to the reduced volume of incoming waste.

  • reduce pollution by exhaust gases;
  • possibility of servicing more customers with the same truck fleet;




  1. Guillotine is intended for lifting and lowering of the door, which closes
    a loading window of container, as well as for preliminary pressing.
  2. Stationary compactor is intended for pressing waste materials into replaceable
    containers of greater volume – up to 45m3.
  3. Replaceable container hydraulic capture system is intended for capture and
    fixation of replaceable containers during the loading.
  4. Replaceable containers EC30-EC45 are intended for gathering and
    transportation of waste from waste transfer station to landfill. Containers
    are equipped with special hatch on a waste loading window, which is
    operated in connection with guillotine system on compactor. Containers
    can be transported by trucks equipped with hook lift systems, cable systems
    or trailers.

Options for stationary compactor:

  • programmable controller, containers capture and fixation system, hydraulic-driven gate, cooling system, loading chamber, container filling indicator;
  • cooling system – cooling of press hydraulic system under continuous exploitation or exploitation within several working shifts. Prevent system overheating at high temperatures;
  • container loading window gate system – hydraulic-driven gate on a container prevents waste fallout during transportation;
  • container capture and fixation system – hydraulically operated locks pull and fix replaceable containers to pressing unit;
  • reinforced loading chamber for loading from garbage trucks;
  • pre-heating system – intended for hydraulic system heating during exploitation at low temperatures (below -15 degrees C). 

Transfer station loading types:

Loading from overpass - waste is loaded directly from a garbage truck into press hopper. Overpass is needed to unload garbage trucks;



Loading by transporting conveyor - waste is loaded by transporting conveyor into press hopper;




Loading from lifting bunker - loading directly from bunker that is filled with waste materials from garbage trucks. Bunker is equipped with a hopper, which sends waste into press loading chamber during bunker lifting. Bunker is lifted by 2 hydraulic cylinders, placed by its sides, and equipped with closing backdoor to prevent waste fallout during the lifting process.

 
Replaceable containers delivery types:
Delivery by hook lifts system or forklift - containers are delivered by trucks equipped wit hook lift or cable system. Container is placed on guiding rails and rolled to the press. Final tightening and fixation is made by hydraulic grippers mounted on a press;


System of containers automatic delivery - system of trolleys for replaceable containers that guide containers along the press with electric motor. Tightening and fixation is made by hydraulic grippers. System could have different number of trolleys for replaceable containers.
